And Christmas is just around the corner! What you need is a good dose of laughter, administered freely by Athlone Little Theatre’s next show. Don’t miss this great antidote to the winter blues that runs from November 25 to December 1 at the Little Theatre in St Mary’s Place, Athlone. Big Maggie at Athlone Little Theatre

Rehearsals are well advanced for the Athlone Little Theatre production of Big Maggie, one of John B Keane’s most popular plays. Paddy Martin has assembled a sterling cast for this show, which runs at the Little Theatre from November 1 to 7. His direction is particularly well rewarded with the work of stalwart Anne Hoey who plays Maggie, thundering out her words with precision and ease.
